1950-60's Silvertone Concert ($550.00 USD)
Project type
Vintage Guitar Restoration
Beautiful wood grain in this fully restored and upgraded Harmony Silvertone from the 50/60's. This is a concert sized body (slightly larger than a parlor) with some of the most beautiful birch wood grain I've come across.
I went over this entire guitar. Removed the top in order to fix and stabilize cracks, and fix and re-glue braces. Also reset the neck, sanded fretboard to a 12º radius, re-fret with gold mediums, added abalone fret board inlays, added side fret markers, added fixed rosewood bridge, added custom bone nut and saddle and bone bridge pins, and refinished the entire guitar.
It's a gorgeous guitar that has low action and sounds great.
